Description of Safe-Stor Drum or IBC Bunded Storage Unit

A versatile and solid range of compliant bunded drum or IBC storage units which cover requirements from 16 or 96 drums ( 16 – 24 IBC’s )

The Safe-Stor bunded stores are highly robust with a 3mm mild steel base and RHS cross members and pressed ribs. The corner posts, shelf frames and main rails are all made from rolled hollow section. The back, sides and door are pressed from 2mm mild steel sheet (corrugated as required for additional strength) while the roof is pressed with suitable bracing.

The store is welded around the perimeter (sump fully seam welded) and fitted with crane lifting points (maximum 2000kg per lift point), while the triple steel sliding doors on each side are mounted on easy glide tracks and the unit is shot blasted before being painted.

The sump fully complies with all the UK regulations relating to sump capacities.

Delivery & Returns

Receipt, Inspection and Returns
a) The Buyer shall inspect Goods immediately upon delivery.

b) Any shortages, transit damage or defects must be reported within 5 working days of delivery.

c) Failure to notify the Seller within this period may affect the Buyer’s ability to make a claim.

d) Goods may not be returned without prior written authorisation from the Seller.

e) Bespoke, customised or made-to-order Goods are non-returnable unless faulty or otherwise required by law. The returns policy is detailed in Appendix A.

f) Returned Goods must be unused, in saleable condition and in original packaging where reasonably possible.

g) The Seller reserves the right to apply reasonable restocking, handling, carriage or repair charges where applicable.

h) Refunds shall normally be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed

Appendix A: Returns Policy

Returns

1. Goods that are manufactured-to-order or bespoke to a customer instruction are classed as non-stock goods and cannot be returned.

2. The Seller can accept stock goods for restocking providing the following criteria is adhered to with the following exceptions:

a) We are notified of return within 5 working days from date of dispatch at which time providing this is acceptable, a returns number will be issued. Goods without the official returns number will be refused.

b) All returns must be arranged by customers own transportation methods unless a collection option is offered by the Seller.

c) Goods must be returned unused and in a resaleable condition and in original packaging where possible.

d) Goods being returned must be wrapped to protect against damage on return journey. We reserve the right to change for refurbishment costs as well as restocking costs.

3. The seller will not accept return on any quantity orders. Our definition of quantity is 3 goods and above and is based on total order quantity, not per product quantity.

4. Provided goods are returned in a resaleable condition subject to inspection after receipt the seller will issue a credit with restocking costs deducted to the buyer. If goods require refurbishment, a damage report will be issued advising of any costs involved.

5. All returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 40% dependent upon range, the specific fee will be informed by the Seller.

6. All returns must be returned to us within 5 working days of returns number being issued. Failure to return within this period will result in the goods being refused and no longer returnable.
