Heavy Duty Mobile Lorry Access Platform 2000kg

The Heavy Duty Mobile Lorry Access Platform is designed specifically to enable the safe access from the rear of vehicles and shipping containers.

When trailers or shipping containers need to be unloaded and there is no loading bay or dock to reverse up to, then there is a potential unloading risk, especially for the first portion on unloading where there is nowhere to stand. This mobile platform with easy use integral steps is designed to alleviate the risks involved. The platform has a tested capacity of 2000kg. The platform deck is from 3mm chequerplate and the integral step section uses high grip punched steel treads. There is a 1m handrail all round the platform and a kick plate. The openings are blocked off with a safety chain as standard.

The legs are infinitely adjustable and a similar design to Acrow Props used in the construction industry. A threaded collar does fine height adjustment while a pin is inserted in a series of holes to do coarser adjustment. This adjustment allows the access platform to be easily used for different height vehicles. The individual adjustment of each leg also allows the platform to be levelled on uneven ground, or if you have pot holes in your yard!

As standard, the mobile access platform has 4 off 200mm dia polyurethane tyred wheels fitted in a swivel and locking brake castor, each individual castor rated to 750kg. The platform is in a painted finish, blue RAL 5010 is our standard.
